The Moss sisters-my lilies, as their father calls them, live in working-class Liverpool right after World War I. They struggle through poverty, passions, and disappointments-sustained by the fortifying power of family.

At tea with her employer, Mr. Brazendale, May meets a charming photographer with obvious designs on the trusting girl. Meanwhile, Billy finds a stray stallion in the woods, which her Dad schemes to keep for the upcoming Orange Parade.

9pm SERANGOON ROAD  Crime Drama -  A detective noir drama set in the 1960s, revolving around Serangoon Road in Singapore.

  1964-65. Singapore. Political and racial tensions are high as the British pull out, and a new nation is about to be born. This is the city of Sam Callaghan, Patricia Cheng and the CIA's Conrad Harrison 

IN THIS EPISODE: Sam sets out to prove that James Lim was responsible for the murder of Patricia's husband Winston, but uncovers much more. Plus will his lover Claire stay in Singapore? 

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
