Spend Valentine's Day with Martin and George

8pm DOC MARTIN - A popular comedy-drama that stars Martin Clunes as Doctor Martin Ellingham, whose truculence and tactless manner causes mayhem in a small Cornish community.

AROMATHERAPY - here's concern in Portwenn that local radio presenter Caroline Bosman has a drinking problem. She's been heard slurring her words during her broadcasts, and she's been seen driving erratically. Her marriage is on the rocks because of her strange behavior. P.C. Mylow has romance on his mind. He's been bowled over by the pretty, blonde newcomer to Portwenn, Julie. He offers to give her driving lessons, and is over the moon when she accepts. But his little bubble of happiness bursts when she decides to enroll at a proper driving school. Meanwhile, Martin has an odorous problem with one of his patients. Vernon Cooke stinks so much nobody can bear to be in the same room. Martin has the unpleasant task of trying to discover the cause. 

9pm INSPECTOR GEORGE GENTLY - Crime Drama - An old-fashioned Scotland Yard detective pursues law-breakers in 1960's Britain.
 

GENTLY IN THE NIGHT - Gently and Bacchus investigate the murder of a young woman whose body is found in a local church.  They discover that the girl was a 'Fox', a waitress working at the first hostess club in Newcastle.

 

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
