This behavior applies to a number of creatures that form these great gatherings for a variety of reasons:  to breed, migrate, find food, and even to protect themselves.

PORPOISES IN PERIL: Porpoises are the smallest members of the whale family. By following the struggles of two babies on opposite sides of the world, we see their dramatic lives.

Orangutan Diary (10:00 pm)

There is tragedy at the rescue center when a newly arrived baby fights for its life. Michaela hopes for the best and is encouraged when her favorite orphan Lomon finally starts to make some progress.
