In Miami-Dade, examples of “P3s” include downtown’s Museum Park, the massive Port Tunnel project, the Arsht Center and the proposed redevelopment of the Miami Beach Convention Center. Private entities finance and construct public facilities, then run and collect revenues for a specific period of time.
