(4-4-2017) Today we’re with someone who began his incredible broadcast career in Miami and now returns to celebrate with us after 60 years in the business.

Larry King worked radio and TV for decades and won two Peabody Awards. He appeared in movies, wrote daily newspaper columns, and is the author of several books. He was even once part of the Miami Dolphins broadcast team.

Richard Ives

Richard Ives came to WLRN in September 2000 to begin a new career in radio. Born in Fort Lauderdale, his family moved to Long Island, New York, where he grew up. After graduation from college and an unsatisfying stint in a job that, as he puts it, "paid the bills but for which I had no passion" he found himself contemplating a midlife career change after being laid-off.
