IL VOLO: Live from Pompeii

IL-VOLO: Live from Pompeii

Il Volo performs at the arecheological ruins of Pompeii, in Italy. In that exclusive venue they perform some of the most wonderful classics like Volare as well as new songs, like Grande Amore.

If you've never heard il Volo sing, you are in for a treat. The three young Italian tenors, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto, and Gianluca Ginoble  have incredible voices, and they showcase that with their fourth PBS special "Live From Pompei."

The trio is still very young, in their early 20s. They have been together for six years. They gained a huge following in the United States with their first three PBS specials.

In this world premiere, the trio performs new arrangements of classic Italian favorites as well as originals, including their new single "Grande Amore", backed by an orchestra and rhythm section.
