Examining Regulated Hunting, Including The Recent Hunt Of Florida Bears

11/11/15 - Wednesday’s Topical Currentsexamines regulated hunting, such as the recent hunt of Florida bears.

The hunt was sanctioned by the State’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. After two days, 298 bears were killed. The Commission says the hunt was needed to stabilize a growing bear population, while animal-welfare advocates were dismayed. There could be another hunt in 2016.
