DCI Banks investigates another mysterious murder

A husband and daughter struggle to come to terms with their grief when the body of wife and mother Anaan Kamel is found washed up by an underground river. When DCI Banks investigates, he suspects a member of her grieving family. The victim's devout Muslim brother believes she was having an affair with a former employee, but when the employee's body is also discovered, Banks finds himself running a double murder investigation. The team must unravel a web of lies and secrets to discover the unsettling truth behind these deaths.
