The Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office announced Thursday night that it is posting notices throughout early voting and Election Day polling locations to remind voters to thoroughly analyze each form.

The ballots will have selections on both the front and back of the forms.

Several state and municipal offices are listed throughout the ballot.

The ballot also contains three state constitutional amendment questions, one question regarding funding for the improvement and replacement of public school facilities in the Broward County school district and another question about the reauthorization of the Children’s Services Council (CSC).

Sandra Bernard-Bastien, CSC chief communications officer, said the council has received phone calls, emails and Facebook posts from early voters who claim they either missed the question or were confused by its location on the ballot.

She also said that Cindy Seltzer, CEO of the CSC, wrote an email to the Broward election office informing them of the complaints the council received.

Although the election office has not contacted the CSC, perhaps the ballot notice may have been a result of Seltzer’s email, according to Bernard-Bastien.

Tonya Edwards, spokesperson for the county’s election office, said that she is not aware of any complaints, but she said that the office just wanted to remind the voters to analyze all sides of the ballot.

Each ballot question will be in English, Spanish, and Creole.
