Wedding Drama & War Games

8pm LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX - Romantic Drama -  A story of love-struck seniors Alan and Celia who rediscover their love for each other later in life — 60 years, in fact, after they first met.

Celia and Alan are planning to make the most of their time together when a surprise visitor stops them in their tracks. Caroline and Kate settle into married life and look forward to motherhood, Kate begins her third trimester and a devastating event shocks everyone. Old habits come back to haunt Gillian as she grapples with following her head over her heart.

IN TONIGHT'S EPISODE: Alan finally lets Celia into his secret about Gary, but is saddened when Celia punishes Caroline on her wedding day for his mistake. Meanwhile, Gillian loses her job after a humiliating visit from Cheryl.  Caroline is distraught when Kate is critically injured in a car accident. Alan and Celia rush to support and console her, and Caroline makes amends with Alan following her words at the wedding. They learn the baby has been delivered safely; Caroline breaks down in tears after hearing further information from the surgeon.

9pm FOYLE'S WAR: War Games - Crime Drama

When a British food corporation signs a secret agreement with the Nazis to provide essential food services to the enemy during wartime, murders result.

October, 1940. At the London headquarters of a multinational company, a young secretary plummets to her death. Soon afterwards an unreported and apparently unrelated burglary of the country house belonging to Sir Reginald Walker, the company's owner, draws Foyle's attention. In Hastings, a member of the Home Guard is shot and killed during "war games" on the Sussex Downs. Foyle and Milner discover how these deaths are linked and how money talks in a universal language, even in war time.

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
