Custer’s Last Stand: American Experience (8:00 PM)

Custer's Last Stand

Like everything else about General George Custer, his martyrdom was shrouded in controversy and contradictions. The final act of his larger-than-life career played out on a grand stage with a spellbound public engrossed in the drama. In the end, his death would launch one of the greatest myths in American history.

Too Close To Home: Human Trafficking (10:00 PM)

Too Close To Home

Behind our world-famous beaches and tourist attractions lies an alarming secret: Tampa Bay is a hotbed for human trafficking. Men, women and children are forced against their will to serve in the sex trade, domestic servitude and agricultural industries. They are bought, sold and discarded in our own community, making Florida the third-highest ranked state in the nation for this fast-growing crime.

Out of Darkness Into Light: Child Sexual Abuse (10:30 PM)

Out of Darkness, Into Light

This half-hour documentary explores the lives of three South Florida survivors of child sexual abuse who are committed to mobilizing their communities to take actions to protect children before they are harmed. The film features Lauren Book, Susan Rubio Rivera and Roberto Santiago and focuses on warning signs, prevention strategies, and recovery.
