8pm LILIES - DramaTough, sexy, funny and heartbreaking, Lilies details the lives of Iris, May and Ruby Moss - Catholic sisters coming of age in Liverpool. Familial love sustains them, and their fortunes are bound to those of their brother and their father.

IN THIS EPISODE: The Serpent - When Billy inadvertently brings home a snake, a local teacher invites Mr. Moss to discuss the exotic reptile in her class. But their relationship soon turns romantic--to the horror of his daughters. Iris, Ruby and May are angry when Dadda reveals he is in love with the local school mistress and they feel he is betraying their mother's memory.   Elsewhere, Iris wants to become a nun, Ruby is seeing the local butcher, and May starts dating lovelorn postman Frank. Then May drops a bombshell, she's pregnant.

9pm SERANGOON ROAD - Crime/Drama - Classic detective noir set against an exotic backdrop: 1960s Singapore, a secretive, crime-ridden city at a crossroads.

While visiting a village hospital sponsored by West Pacific Exports, Claire discovers that its malaria medicine is ineffective. As Sam tracks down those responsible for the drug tampering, Claire learns a harsh lesson in political realities.

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
