National Book Award winner andThe Atlantic correspondent Ta-Nehisi Coates is coming to Miami in January to talk about his latest book, "We Were Eight Years in Power: An American Tragedy," a series of essays about President Barack Obama's years in office.
Coates is scheduled to speak on Thursday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m., at Miami Dade College's Wolfson Campus' Chapman Conference Center in downtown Miami as part of the Miami Book Fair's year-long program. The conversation will be moderated by WLRN reporter Nadege Green.
