It has taken three seasons, but Martin and Louisa are finally going on their first date. However, in typical fashion, the clumsy doctor manages to ruin the moment with an inappropriate remark, and Louisa ends their affair, leaving Martin shell-shocked. The break-up hits Martin harder than he anticipated. But there’s one more chance to redeem himself when he gets an urgent call for help from Louisa to treat her friend Holly. As Martin leaves Louisa’s house, he realizes he could lose her forever. He pauses on the doorstep and asks her to marry him.

Campaigns against the building of a supermarket in Elverton-cum-Latterly come to a head when environmental supervisor Frank Hopkirk is stabbed to death at a long-forgotten timberyard.

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
