LOT'S OF NEW SHOWS COMING YOUR WAY IN MAY!  

Get ready for new dramas, new comedies, new crimes and new documentaries.  Here's a sneak peek at our coming attractions for the month of May.  

May 2nd at 9pm:  800 WORDS - Drama
 

The series premiere of “800 Words” on Tuesday nights at 9pm.  An Australian columnist, recently widowed, uproots his family and moves to a remote New Zealand seaside town for a fresh start.  A  heartwarming show that will resonate with our extremely devoted drama lovers.

 

May 3rd at 9pm:   AGATHA RAISIN - Crime Drama

 

The series premiere of “Agatha Raisin” on Wednesday nights at 9pm.  A sort of 
contemporary British take on “Murder She Wrote,”  Agatha Raisin is an amateur sleuth solving 
mysteries in a small English town.  

 
May 4th at 8pm:  STORIES OF CONFLICT - History - Block programming
 

We kick off “Stories of Conflict” on Thursday nights! Every Thursday night at 8pm, learn how the battle lines were drawn, take a closer look at the power players and engage in some strategic warfare.  Titles include new episodes of PBS’s “Nazi Megaweapons” and “World War II: The 
Price of Empire.”

May 5th at 8pm:  A REGAL AFFAIR - History - Block programming

The Royal Family is crossing the pond and setting up shop!  Every Friday night at 8, 
join Her Royal Highness for an inside look into what makes the British monarchy one of the most 
fascinating and enduring lineages of all time!

May 5th at 10pm: MIDSOMER MURDERS - Crime Drama

Chief Inspector Barnaby is MOVING!  It's a new day, a new time and there are new murders to investigate in the idyllic, picturesque, but deadly villages of Midsomer. Tune in Friday's at 10pm  beginning May 5th to solve the sinister crimes of homicide, blackmail, greed, and betrayal: just a 
taste of what goes on behind the well-trimmed hedges of Midsomer County.

 

May 14th at 8pm: MARTIN CLUNES, ISLANDS OF AUSTRALIA
 

Now here's a little something extra for our Doc Martin fans. If you just can't get enough of 
Martin Clunes, then tune in Sundays at 8pm beginning May 14th and follow the Doc star as he goes 
island hopping along the coast of Australia. This new three-part travelogue sees the enthusiastic  
Clunes explore some of the 8,000 islands that surround Australia, which provides a fascinating 
insight into the diversity, history and challenges of island life.
 

 
 

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
