Rescue Road: One Man, Thirty Thousand Dogs, and a Million Miles on the Last Hope Highway

twitter.com/rescueroadbook/

12/23/15 - On Wednesday’s Topical Currents, we chat about an Ohio man who’s probably the most inexhaustible rescuer of abandoned dogs in America.  He’s Greg Mahle, known as “the dog savior.”

And he rescues dogs by the semi-truckload . . . more than 30-thousand of them over 18 years. We’ll speak with his biographer, Peter Zheutlin, who’s written RESCUE ROAD: One Man, Thirty Thousand Dogs, and a Million Miles on the Last Hope Highway. That’s Topical Currents. . . Wednesday at 1pm.
