A New Look For The Florida Lottery

flalottery.com

The Florida Lottery is getting an image makeover to coincide with its 25th anniversary.

An audience of Bright Futures scholarship winners applauded as the new logo was unveiled at Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

Lottery leaders showcased the new logo, which prominently features a pink flamingo.

Florida Lottery Secretary Cynthia O’Connell says the redesigned brand should help lure new players.

“The Florida Lottery’s sole purpose and mission has been to generate as much revenue as possible for the benefit for Florida’s students and schools,” O’Connell says. “Each time a Florida resident or visitor pursues a dream by purchasing a Florida lottery ticket, students are the winners – guaranteed.”

The Florida Lottery puts more than a billion dollars a year into the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.

As part of the 25th anniversary celebration, O’Connell announced that players are getting a new scratch off game called Florida Treasure Hunt.

“As the Lottery evolves, we will continue to offer new and exciting games to our players, providing more chances to win and more funding for education,” O’Connell says.

The Florida Lottery is entirely self-funded. It doesn’t use any tax dollars to operate.
