Mike Pence In Miami: 'Have Faith And Go Vote'

Vice presidential nominee Mike Pence promised a new Trump administration would take a stand against governments in Cuba and Venezuela.

Running mate of GOP nominee Donald Trump and Governor of Indiana, Mike Pence, encouraged a crowd of Trump supporters to go out and vote Friday night, in West Miami.

The crowd filled the Renaissance Ballroom by the time Pence went up to speak and his message was clear, “have faith,” Pence said.

“I’m asking you to vote early. Talk to your friends at worship, or work, or over the fence to your neighbors and go out and vote.”

The crowd was loud and proudly boasted Trump posters, red caps and “Lock Her Up” buttons.

Participants of the Pence-Trump displayed proudly their "Lock her up" buttons, in reference to democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

Attendees roared as Pence hit some of the key issues Trump’s campaign has been messaging out, like scrutiny over Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, the economy and rebuilding a strong military.

“She may have most of the media, the money and the special interest donors, but Donald Trump and I have something just a little more powerful, we got a basket of the American people that are saying enough is enough,” Pence said.

Pence promised that the Trump administration will repeal every single Obama executive order and “hold all those accountable in Washington about all those lies they said about Obama Care,” Pence said.

“When Donald Trump becomes negotiator-and-chief we will negotiate deals to get out of Trans-Pacific Deal and NAFTA, and we hold our trading partners accountable to make sure America goes first.”

Identity also played a strong role in Pence’s speech Friday night, after he promised to repeal Obama’s relations with Cuba, “until real political and religious freedoms are a reality for all the people of Cuba,” Pence said.

“Donald Trump will stand for freedom against communist repressions and President Donald Trump will stand for the people of Venezuela as well.”

The room was filled with energy after Donald Trump running mate Mike Pence encouraged attendees to have faith and hit the voting booths.

Daniel Molina is a 22-year-old Hispanic Evangelical who was at the rally Friday. He said his religious views don’t drive his vote, it’s the conservative platform that does.

“Small government, lower taxes, personable accountability and responsibility, I think that that is a successful platform,” Molina said.

“Donald Trump is being straight forward, and for a long time we’ve been hearing politics and policies that sugarcoat the problem, instead of wanting to spearhead them straight on.”

Many attendees at the event were calling Donald Trump’s campaign a “political movement,” like Mayra Joli, a black Hispanic immigration lawyer in Miami.

“Voting Donald J. Trump is different than just voting for a party. Someone needs to take control of America, we don’t have jobs or control on immigration, we don’t have law and order,” Joli said.

“Donald Trump is a winner because he’s the only one who has America at heart, the rest of the people on the ballot are protecting their own interest and protecting their jobs.”

At the end of the rally, Pence closed by again encouraging supporters to go out and vote for Trump and Senator Marco Rubio.

“Let me just encourage you to have faith — faith in the American people,” Pence said.
