Miami-Dade School System Inducts 14 Into Hall Of Fame

Fourteen of Miami-Dade Public School System's better-known and accomplished graduates were inducted into the first official Hall of Fame, Monday night at the New World Center in Miami Beach.


 They include a former U.S. Senator and Governor of Florida, as well as four astronauts and two Internet industry pioneers. Each received a gold medal with their honor. Miami Herald writer Howard Cohen has an in-depth profile of the Class of 2012 , along with a look at some of the other famous names - including several TV stars -  who are products of the Miami-Dade Public School System. Click the link to see who you may know!
