Hurricane Andrew in 1992 was the last Category 5 hurricane to hit the continental U.S.

05/21/15 - Thursday on Topical Currents: You may not care to hear the news, but our hurricane season begins June 1^st. We haven’t been severely threatened by a storm in nearly ten years, so we’ll go over possibilities with meteorologist Dr. Angela Colbert, from the Frost Museum of Science. Then, Linda Gassenheimer presents the joy and tradition of Brazilian cuisine, while wine columnist Fred Tasker gives Brazilian suggestions. That’s Thursday at 1pm on Topical Currents.
