Maestro James Judd & His Miami Music Project

May 27, 2014

05/27/14 - Tuesday's Topical Currents features British-born conductor James Judd, and the story behind his ambitious Miami Music Project. Judd conducted the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra from 1987 to 2001.  Financial difficulties forced the ensemble’s closure. Some 25-thousand public school students – many in underserved communities -- have been exposed to classical music through the performances of the Project. We’ll also have two students from the Doral Chapter of Miami Music Project with us. That’s Topical Currents . . . Tuesday at 1pm on WLRN.
