A PLACE TO CALL HOME - 8 pm An Australian drama brimming with secrets, passion, romance, and intrigue.  It explores the ties that hold families together and the betrayals that can tear them apart. 

In this episode: I BELIEVE In the aftermath of Bert's death and its subsequent cover-up, all those involved are struggling. While Sarah battles her own demons, she is well aware that Colin's suffering is tenfold. When Eve raises the idea of moving away from Inverness for a fresh start, Sarah is quick to support it. 

DCI BANKS - 9 pm The tenacious and stubborn DCI  Alan Banks unravels disturbing murder mysteries.

In this episode: WHAT WILL SURVIVE - When the detective suffers a personal loss, he's forced to navigate a complex murder case while grieving. A young Estonian woman has been found dead, with the evidence suggesting she was buried alive. Piecing together her movements, the team uncovers a dark world of prostitution and drugs, and investigates her connection to a single father, his autistic son, and a family who seem to have silenced the town.

 

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
