7pm FILTHY CITIES: Medieval London - Science

Historian Dan Snow gets down and dirty in Medieval grime to discover the hard way how the London we know was forged in the filth of the 14th century. State of the art CGI reveals London's streets as they were 700 years ago - wooden platforms designed to help him rise above the disgusting mess underfoot. Plus, he examines the remains of a plague victim to discover how a catastrophic epidemic would help a new and cleaner London emerge from the muck of the past.

8pm NOVA: Secrets of Noah's Ark - Science/Technology

In 1948, a British pilot serving in Iraq acquired a clay tablet with an intriguing, 3,700 year-old inscription. The ancient writing tells the story of a future flood that will destroy mankind; and gives detailed instructions for building a boat to save family and livestock. Join NOVA as a team of historians and expert boat builders investigates this fascinating flood legend and sets out to rebuild a tantalizing, ancient forerunner of the Ark.

9pm LINE OF DUTY - Crime/Drama  - Like other police units, AC-12 investigates criminals--but the lawbreakers it catches are police officers working in the line of duty.

Detective Chief Inspector Tony Gates is an exemplary cop. He's got the best crime figures on the force and a loyal team working under him. But the head of the police anti corruption unit, Superintendent Ted Hastings, has his doubts about Gates. Is he really that good? 
 
IN THIS EPISODE: Desperate for proof of Gates's corruption, Fleming pushes her relationship with him to the limit; her behavior causes Morton to question if she might not be such a loyal colleague after all.

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
