Have you got a great idea that could change the face of arts in South Florida?
Then it's time to submit it to the Knight Arts Challenge Miami. The yearly challenge looks for the best and most innovative ideas aimed at bringing South Florida residents together through the arts. Winners will share $2.5 million dollars in grants.
There are only three rules for submissions:
1) The idea must be about the arts.
2) The project must take place in or benefit South Florida.
3) The grant recipients must find funds to match Knight’s commitment.
Applications will be taken through May 2. Knight Foundation representatives will offer one-on-one feedback about applications on the following days:
April 23, 2 to 4 p.m.
Macondo Coffee Roasters, 2494 NW 89th Pl., Doral
April 27, 5 to 7 p.m.
Panther Coffee, 2390 NW Second Ave, Miami.
