Topical Currents

How What We Eat Defines Who We Are

05/19/16 - Thursday’s Topical Currentsexamines what’s loosely defined as our “food culture,” with Sophie Egan, of the Culinary Institute of America.

She’s written DEVOURED: From Chicken Wings to Kale Smoothies—How What We Eat Defines Who We Are.

It examines the American food psyche and our values.

Why do we yield to novelty foods?  Or watch Food TV without ever heating a pan?

That’s Topical Currents, Thursday at 1PM.
