8pm - 800 WORDS - Drama/Comedy - A heartwarming tale about a family starting over in the wake of tragedy.  Moving to a small coastal town, the Turners quickly become center of attention by the weird and wonderful locals.

George finds out why you should always inspect a home before buying.  The discovery that their new home is on the verge of collapsing disrupts the family's attempts to mark Laura's birthday, forcing them to move temporarily into the local motel.

9pm VERA - Crime Drama 
 

THE SEA GLASS - When the body of a missing trawler man is pulled from the sea, DCI Vera Stanhope must delve into the lives of his family in a close knit fishing community.

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
