04/28/15 - If you’re of retirement age, have you considered the many options of Social Security benefits? More than 40% of Americans apply for Social Security benefits at age 62. Not a good idea, unless you must. And deferring to age 70 not only increases benefits, but helps give the fund a cash cushion. We’ll have PBS NewsHour correspondent Paul Solman and Laurence J. Kotlikoff is a William Fairfield Warren Professor at Boston University, a Professor of Economics at Boston Universitto take your calls.
