FIGS ON A PLATE

This is a bit of a non-recipe. If you caught the show you will know why. And if you missed

12 ripe fresh figs, split in half, stem removed if you wish
 
2 Tablespoons honey
 
1 Tablespoon Nuoc Mam Pha San, (optional, it is a mixed fish sauce)
 
a few strands of prosciutto or serrano ham, sliced paper thin
 
 
Lay the cut figs on your cutting board.
 
Mix the honey with the Nuoc Mam Pha San, (this ingredient is even optional and can be
omitted using only honey)
 
Spoon the mixture over each cut fig.
 
Wrap a strand of the cured ham around each fig and place them on a plate. Serve.
