Charlie Carlson and his canine sidekick Miss Scarlet

WEIRD FLORIDA: Roads Less Traveled is an unusual one-hour travelogue documentary that celebrates the Sunshine State’s most eccentric and wacky locations.

Known for its sun, surf, and sand, Florida is a state where South Beach is famous and theme parks reign supreme. But hold your horses! Florida also has a darker, offbeat and downright weird side, steeped in ancient mysteries and roadside craziness.  From Key West to the Gulf of Mexico, we chronicle this sightseeing adventure with Charlie Carlson, Florida’s “Master of the Weird” and his traveling canine companion Miss Scarlet (a rescued boxer).
