Leaving a trail of admirers in her wake, Phryne makes sure she enjoys every moment of her lucky life. But behind the façade of elegance and charm are the scars of the past which drive Phryne to find justice for those who can't help themselves and to pursue the truth of her own dark history.

Death Comes Knocking: Phyrne's Aunt Prudence is caught up in the new spiritualist craze and recruits a famed psychic to contact her dead godson.  She attends a seance, and a ghostly message from beyond the grave leads to the death of a war veteran. Upon investigation, Phryne uncovers a past murder that lay buried in the battlefield for more then a decade.

Mia Laurenzo is a 35-year veteran of public television in Miami. She began her career learning every aspect of video production. Currently she is a writer, producer, on-air host and promotions coordinator for TV, radio and the web.  Her experiences include producing for a series, special events and historical documentaries.  As a native Floridian, she is a perfect fit for South Florida's Storyteller Station, WLRN.  She has produced several award winning, nationally distributed documentaries and is the recipient of three Suncoast Regional Emmys.
