EVEREST: A CLIMB FOR PEACE chronicles the journey of nine "peace climbers" from different faiths and cultures as they attempt to summit the tallest mountain in the world. Filmed on location in Nepal, Tibet, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, U.A.E. and the United States, the documentary focuses on Palestinian Ali Bushnaq and Israelis Dudu Yifrah and Micha Yaniv. Setting aside their differences, they come together to forge a path of teamwork and cooperation.

Alaska: Silence & Solitude (9:00 pm)

Alaska Silence & Solitude is the follow up to Alone in the Wilderness, filmed 20 years later. Bob Swerer and Bob Swerer Sr. visit Dick Proenneke at his famous cabin on Twin Lakes where the wildlife is still abundant and the scenery is spectacular.
