Get moving! Walk or bike to school
Bright idea! Turn the lights off when you leave a room
Dish it out! Don’t use paper goods, instead use washable plates and utensils
Waste not, want not! Recycle everything and consume less
Remember to recycle! Use recycling bins for paper, plastic and glass
Save those batteries! Power your toys and other stuff with reusable batteries
Trash it! Be sure to put trash in garbage bins. Litter makes roads look bad, and may harm animals
Every drop counts… turn the water off while brushing your teeth

Enertips at the Youth Fair!

This year at the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition, WLRN provided more than 1,000 families with a sneak peek of the first episode of Enertips. After the screening, kids and their parents visited the WLRN Green Zone, which featured eco-friendly, interactive kids’ games and activities.
