Conservation Tips from Enertips
- Get moving! Walk or bike to school
- Bright idea! Turn the lights off when you leave a room
- Dish it out! Don’t use paper goods, instead use washable plates and utensils
- Waste not, want not! Recycle everything and consume less
- Remember to recycle! Use recycling bins for paper, plastic and glass
- Save those batteries! Power your toys and other stuff with reusable batteries
- Trash it! Be sure to put trash in garbage bins. Litter makes roads look bad, and may harm animals
- Every drop counts… turn the water off while brushing your teeth

Enertips at the Youth Fair!
This year at the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition, WLRN provided more than 1,000 families with a sneak peek of the first episode of Enertips. After the screening, kids and their parents visited the WLRN Green Zone, which featured eco-friendly, interactive kids’ games and activities.
